In many parts of Africa, the traditional banking infrastructure was either non-existent or inaccessible to rural populations. Instead of waiting for bank branches to be built, the market innovated around the scarcity of physical banks. Services like M-Pesa turned basic mobile phones into digital wallets. It was a leapfrog technology that bypassed the need for traditional, resource-heavy infrastructure.

Ask yourself: If I had to deliver the same value using only half the resources, what would I remove? Often, you will find that many of the features or processes you use are redundant anyway.
